I Am A Muslim : Instilling The Love Of Islam In Your Child – Ustadh Murtaza Khan:

Tips To Help With Memorising The Quran – Dr Ahsan Hanif:

E-Book: A Muslim Child’s Way of Life

We are publishing this book with two purposes in mind. One is to signify the meanings of the statement of Faith, which is Laa ilaaha illallaah; and what position it should hold in our lives. The conditions and the requirements of the statement of Faith are clearly described for our children in such a style that they will grasp it without any difficulty. All the Articles of Faith have been explained to them in a very easy manner. In fact every child gets the clear idea of all the requirements of Faith by reading this book, and this was one aim which has been achieved in a perfect manner. The second aim was to promote healthy extracurricular activities in the school children. Various types of debates, writing competitions and sports produce sound effects both mentally and physically upon the children. They become fluent in expressing themselves through words whether it is by speaking or by writing. Such competitions increase the thinking capabilities of the children, making them creative and expressive.

Your Parents Are Two Doors To Jannah

“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor reprimand them but address them in terms of honor.” (Surah Isra: 23)

“And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: “My Lord! Bestow on them Your mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.” (Surah Isra:24)

Can the love between a parent and child be measured? No it cannot.

The parents of a child always puts the needs of the child first, always before them. Do they not deserve our khidmat when they become old?

Imam ibn al-Qayyim: “The one who neglects to teach his son that which will benefit him…”

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

“The one who neglects to teach his son that which will benefit him and leaves him to his own devices has wronged him severely. Most children only become corrupt because of their parents and their neglect of them, and their failure to teach them the obligatory duties and Sunnahs of Islam. They neglect them when they are young then they are not able to benefit themselves or their parents when they grow up.”

[Tuhfat al-Mawdood (p. 229)]
